The story began when he found his uncle’s drum kit in the basement of his mother’s childhood home. His uncle was a drummer at the time, and Timo, like his father, started playing drums as a teenager. Timo’s mother bought her 13-year-old son a drum set, much to the distress of the neighbors. His first contact with DJ equipment at the age of 16 (a student) was that he got the turntables and mixer from a local rental company and practiced DJing in his parents’ party basement on weekends while his friends preferred to go dancing.
It all started under the name Timmy T. First own events, first in rental locations – later in clubs or on boats! But this synonym has now been retired because the name no longer corresponded to his age. Today he is active in the hard genre under the synonym Timo Manson. As a sound character, he can be seen as a live performer in the areas of deep and melodic house.
His studio “Timo Manson Music” is also often visited by well-known artists, and commissioned productions or film post-production are not uncommon. His studio is also a contact point for DJs who need the experience or help with music production to create their first songs. Unlike various artists in the music business. Timo is ready to share his knowledge with those who really want to learn something. He always answers his emails himself, even if it takes a little longer.
Timo has experienced many memorable moments in his DJ career. He is known for his unique talent for adapting to changing ways, bringing unique styles or mixing great things together, but most of all, seizing the moment. What is particularly noteworthy is that his single “Deep Wine – Sound Character” reached number 3 in the Droomschipp sales charts on Beatport just a few weeks after its release.
The references would now appear at this point, which Timo doesn’t do, crowning himself with successes, to which he only contributed a part. Even if many people think that he probably has hardly any references, they don’t have the knowledge how to find out such information.
Last but not least, Timo gives Ableton Live courses at schools and youth centers to give beginners the opportunity to overcome the initial difficulties. Young people are particularly close to his heart because he offers the courses free of charge because he wants to offer young people a platform during this difficult time – regardless of their financial background.
So just write an email or private message if you’re really looking for someone to help you get started with music production. Or if you want to offer something new in your youth center, every teenager needs to be excited about something.
He is always willing to work on projects with other artists; Timo is a team player.
